Refund policy
Effective October 14, 2026
Inboxes plans are paid ahead of each billing cycle, and what you pay is not returned afterwards except in the three cases described below. You stay in control of the next payment: renewal can be switched off from your billing page in a moment.
A paid cycle is a delivered cycle
Your plan pays for one month or one year of Inboxes: the unified board, connected mailboxes, replies from your own address and the AI sorting allowance of your plan, as listed on the pricing page. The cycle is open to you in full as soon as it is paid. How many mailboxes you connected or how much mail was sorted in that time does not change the price, because the fee covers access for the cycle rather than usage.
Subscribing is a request for us to start the service immediately, and you accept that any statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period no longer applies once it has started.
Renewal and cancelling
Every plan renews on its own until you stop it. You can cancel from your billing page at any time and do not need to contact anyone. Nothing more is charged after that, and your board keeps working until the paid cycle ends. Remaining days are not credited or paid out.
Cancelling never reaches back. A renewal that has already gone through remains charged and you keep that cycle. If a renewal payment fails, the amount is still due for a cycle that has begun, so the card is tried again in the following days. Those attempts collect a single open invoice, not new charges, and a renewal that succeeds after them is not refunded. To skip a renewal, cancel before the date on your billing page. Switching to a smaller plan is not a refund either: its lower allowances start right away and no money goes back to the card.
Not a reason for a refund
- You stopped needing a unified inbox, or moved your mail elsewhere.
- You connected few mailboxes, or none, during a paid cycle.
- A message was placed in a category you would not have chosen, or flagged as spam. The sorting is guidance, as our terms explain.
- A mailbox provider refused the connection, changed its settings or was unavailable.
- Forgetting to cancel before renewal, or cancelling just after one.
- Thinking the plan was a single payment. Every plan is recurring, which the pricing page, checkout, confirmation email and billing page all say.
- A feature missing from the pricing page, or working differently from your expectation.
- Choosing a plan or cycle that did not suit you.
- Someone else using your account with credentials you shared.
The exceptions
We return money only in these cases, only when our records support the claim, and never more than you paid for the affected cycle.
- Charged twice. A billing error on our side took payment twice for the same cycle.
- Charged without your authority. Your card was used by someone else, you tell us within 14 days of the charge, and our records and our payment operator's records bear it out. A statement on its own does not decide the claim, and we may ask you to confirm that the card issuer was informed.
- Inboxes stopped working altogether. A confirmed fault on our side made the service completely unusable for an unbroken period, you reported it at the time, and we were unable to fix it. Slow sorting, delays at your mailbox provider and issues with your own device, browser or network are not included.
Any return is paid to the card that was charged, covers our entire liability for that charge, and gives no claim to another return later.
How to ask
Send an email to [email protected] from your account address within 14 days of the charge. Include the date, the amount and which exception you believe fits. Requests after 14 days or through other channels are not considered, and declined requests are closed.
What we hold on record
Opening an account means accepting our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and this policy is part of those terms. The checkout lists the plan, price, billing cycle and automatic renewal before payment, and the confirmation email and billing page repeat them.
For each subscription we keep the purchase time, the plan and price shown, your acceptance of the terms, the emails we sent you about it, and the account activity log, which covers sign-ins, mailboxes connected, messages sorted and replies sent, together with the technical details recorded with each entry. Our payment operator keeps a separate record of every charge, including the card's issuing country, where the payment was made from and the result of bank verification such as 3D Secure. These are the records an unauthorised-charge claim is checked against.
Card disputes
Talk to us before you talk to your bank. Starting a chargeback without contacting us first breaches our terms, and the account is then closed permanently. If a dispute is opened, we give the card issuer the records described above.
Earlier subscriptions
Plans purchased before October 14, 2026 continue under the terms in force on the day they were bought.
